eco Names & Numbers Forum – International

eco is the largest Internet industry association in Europe. The eco Names & Numbers Forum brings together around 160 companies from the Domain industry, out of the total of around 1.000 member companies that have a home at eco. Therefore we offer registries, registrars, resellers and secondary market companies a platform for exchanging big ideas and small business cards.

For our members, we are on location at industry events, we organize workshops, regularly provide up-to-date information and represent the interests of the sector in international committees. Join us, and become a member of one of the largest Domain communities!

World Report on Internationalised Domain Names

As we look toward the 2017 report to be published later this year, we wanted to revisit some interesting findings from the 2016 report that are worth calling out. In particular, the latest report showed that IDNs (i.e., domain names in non-Latin based scripts) are growing at a rate of about 9 percent, significantly faster than the general growth of domain names.
